FAQ

When should I book my wedding day?

We recommend that our clients book at least 6-12 months in advance. All bookings are on a first-come first-serve basis, so once we receive your deposit and signed contract your date is locked down in our calendar (sorry but we do not hold dates without these!).

What's a trial?

A trial is a makeup and/or hair appointment done in advance of your wedding day, usually 6-9 weeks beforehand. Trials are a great opportunity for us to meet and go over the details of your wedding, to collaborate on creating your final look, and then to see it all come together before your eyes.

How should I prepare for my trial?

We recommend looking through magazines, blogs, pinterest, etc. and creating a small collection of images/ideas that you love. Whether it's makeup and hair looks, celebrity inspirations, or things that evoke the mood or theme of what you're going for, bring them along for sharing! Wearing white (or the same color as your wedding dress) and bringing along your bridal jewellery/hair pieces will be that much more effective in helping you visualize what your final look will be like.

What brands of makeup do you use?

We carry products from multiple cosmetic lines in our kits, and we use only what we've found to perform the very best. Some of the brands we love include NARS, Makeup Forever, Laura Mercier, Dior, Bobbi Brown, and MAC, to name a few.

I want a second look for my reception, do you provide this as well?

We are happy to book you for a change-over, where we will travel to your location and provide you with a new makeup look, hairstyle, or both! Many of our brides love this option as a way of complimenting a change in outfit and having the chance to show off a more glamorous version of themselves. Highly recommended!
